Trip to Chicago Science Museum

Visited the Chicago Museum of science and industry yesterday. The BodyWorlds2 exhibition is now here and visited the same too. Has many real human bodies plastinated and helps us understand the complex human system. On display were the three smallest bones of the body, which are inside the ear. How small, even smaller than the tip of the nails, and they are the ones which are completely responsible for our hearing. The display also had specimens showing healthy lungs and lungs of a smoker showing how the body gets affected due to carcinogens and other substances. Some of the exhibits did make my head spin, like the exhibit were a human is vertically sliced, to show the various organs inside and how they are packed together within the body.
It is a revelation that the human body, whose working is taken for granted by us, is such a complex creation.
No photography allowed inside, so no photos of the exhibition.
